How accurate are the quotes?
Our quotes match what you'd see in your desktop slicer because we use your actual slicer profiles. Unlike generic calculators that estimate, we run your STL through real slicing algorithms with your exact settings (layer height, infill, speeds, etc.). The quote your customer sees matches what you'd calculate if you sliced the file yourself.
What slicers are supported?
We support all major slicers: OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, and SuperSlicer. Simply export your slicer configuration files (.orca_printer, .bbscfg, .ini) and upload them to your dashboard. Your profiles are imported automatically — no manual re-entry required. Creality Print support is coming soon.
How do I embed the widget on my website?
It's a single line of code. After configuring your pricing and profiles in the dashboard, you'll get an embed code that works on any website — WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, or custom sites. Just paste it where you want the quote widget to appear.
What happens if I exceed my monthly quote limit?
Your widget will continue to work, but new quotes will show a message asking visitors to contact you directly. You won't be charged overage fees. We'll send you an email when you're at 80% of your limit so you can upgrade if needed. Upgrading is instant and pro-rated.
Can I customize the widget appearance?
Yes! All paid plans include custom branding — upload your logo and set your brand colors. The Professional plan includes full white-label support, removing the "Powered by Quot3D" footer entirely. The widget automatically adapts to your site's light/dark mode. The widget also supports multiple languages including German.
How is pricing calculated?
You control everything: material costs per kg, machine hourly rates, profit margins, minimum order amounts, and volume discount tiers. When a customer uploads an STL, we calculate material usage and print time from real slicing data, then apply your pricing rules. You can preview any changes before going live.
Do my customers need to create an account?
No. Customers can get instant quotes without signing up. If they want to save their quote for later, we only ask for their email. This keeps friction low and conversion high. You'll receive their contact info when they save a quote.
How do my customers pay for accepted quotes?
You have two options: Stripe Connect allows customers to pay instantly with credit cards right on your quote page — no redirect needed. Alternatively, you can set up a manual payment link (PayPal, Square, Venmo, etc.) that customers are directed to after accepting a quote. Payment collection features are available on paid plans (Starter and above). Free tier users can still send quotes, but will need to arrange payment separately with their customers.
How do I get help if I have issues?

Can my customers choose filament colors?
Yes! You can configure available colors for each material, including multi-color options like dual-color, tri-color, and rainbow. Customers can also request custom colors.
Can I have multiple users on my account?
Yes, our team accounts feature lets you invite team members with admin or viewer roles. Viewers can see quotes and analytics, while admins have full access to settings.
